New UK distribution partnership signed for the coming season
A supply agreement covering avocado and fine beans across the 2026/27 season window.
Assranda has signed a distribution partnership with a UK-based fresh produce importer for the 2026/27 season. The agreement covers weekly supply of Hass avocado during the Rwanda season window and French beans on a year-round programme.
The partnership was structured after sample shipments and a site visit to the Kigali grading and packing operation. The buyer's key requirement was documentation accuracy and arrival consistency — both of which are now built into the weekly operating rhythm.
The first commercial shipments are scheduled for October, coinciding with the start of the avocado season. French beans will continue on their existing weekly rhythm throughout the transition.
