Quality & certifications
Compliance is the entry ticket. Consistency is the business.
Certificates get a first container through the door. What keeps a programme alive is the same grade arriving, week after week.
Export Licence
Issued by the National Agricultural Export Development Board, authorising Assranda Group Ltd to export fresh horticultural produce from Rwanda.
Domestic Company Certificate
Registered with the Rwanda Development Board as a limited company operating from Remera, Gasabo, Kigali.
GlobalG.A.P.
Good Agricultural Practice at farm level: input control, worker welfare, hygiene and record keeping across contracted plots.
Phytosanitary Certificate
Issued per consignment by the Rwanda Inspectorate, certifying the shipment is free of quarantine pests and fit for entry.
RICA Traceability
Registration and inspection under RICA, giving every carton a documented route back to the plot it was grown on.
EU MRL Compliance
Maximum residue level control through approved-input lists, spray records and residue testing against EU thresholds.
Control points
Six places we can stop a shipment.
Product below export grade is redirected to the local market. It is never blended into a carton to make a weight.

- Field
- Approved inputs only, spray records held per plot, pre-harvest interval enforced.
- Intake
- Visual grading, calibre check, temperature reading logged for every crate received.
- Pre-cool
- Core temperature brought to target within four hours of harvest.
- Pack
- Weight verification, carton coding, seal integrity and label accuracy check.
- Dispatch
- Cold-chain handover temperature recorded at airport acceptance.
- Arrival
- Buyer arrival report reviewed weekly and fed back into grading standards.
