Export & Shipping Terms

All produce is despatched as air cargo from Kigali International Airport on RwandAir Cargo. We do not offer sea freight for fresh horticultural produce.

Standard trading terms are FOB Kigali or CIF destination airport, agreed in writing per programme. Title and risk pass in accordance with the incoterm confirmed on the commercial invoice.

The standard cycle from confirmed order to delivery at destination airport is seven days. Minimum order quantities are two tonnes per week for French beans, one tonne per week for avocado and 500 kg per week for each chilli line.

Every consignment travels with a phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, packing list, commercial invoice and airway bill. Cartons are coded to allow traceability back to plot, harvest date and grading shift.

Quality claims must be submitted within 24 hours of arrival, supported by photographs and temperature records. Claims raised after that window cannot be assessed reliably and will not be accepted.

First shipments are made against advance payment or a confirmed irrevocable letter of credit. Credit terms are available to established programmes by written agreement.
