Assranda strengthens its quality and compliance team

Ahead of the peak export season, Assranda has added two new roles to its Kigali team: a Quality Assurance Officer and an Export Documentation Coordinator. Both roles report directly into operations and work alongside the grading and logistics teams.

The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for intake inspection, pre-cool verification and arrival report review. The Export Documentation Coordinator manages phytosanitary certificates, packing lists, invoices and airway bills, ensuring paperwork moves ahead of the cargo.

These appointments reflect the company's view that growth in volume must be matched by growth in control. As weekly programmes increase, the margin for error shrinks — and the team is being built to operate inside that margin.
